Adonia Dunwell

Miss Teen Galaxy Flying Post First Nation 2026

Purpose-driven, 17-year-old Adonia Dunwell is an Afro-Indigenous student who leads with pride.

She champions to inspire racialized youth and promote cultural pride. Through her platform, Crowned in Culture, she uplifts mental health, education, and safe spaces for BIPOC youth.

A leader in both athletics and advocacy, she serves with Black Lives Matter Sudbury, Compass Youth Advisory Council and Greater Sudbury Youth Advisory Panel.

This year, she was honoured with the COYO Outstanding Youth Service Award.

Her passions include baking, bedazzling, traveling, continuous learning, and public speaking competitions.

Looking ahead, Adonia aspires to become a Crown Attorney, using her passion and voice to advocate for justice and empower the voiceless.

She stands by this message: “Supporting and empowering our youth isn’t optional; it’s our responsibility to the future”.

Through it all, she stays focused on her ultimate goal: elevating youth nationwide!
