Miss Galaxy Halifax 2024

Machara MacNeil is a 20 year old Nova Scotian from Halifax county, currently residing in Mabou, Cape Breton where she is studying Gaelic language and culture at Beinn Mhàbu. Machara has been a Highland dancer since age 2, taking her across North America and Scotland; fuelling her love for her heritage. She is passionate about advocating for poverty. In her everyday life Machara strives to motivate others and spread kindness, and hopes to inspire others to do the same! An active member of her community, Machara firmly believes that embracing community leads us to be our best and truest selves.
