    Lex Smith

    Lex, is a small town girl who values her family and friends.
    She enjoys cosmetic special effects as this gives her the freedoms to explore different personalities and drastic changes within just a few hours.
    She is an inventor and has created a product that hopefully will be on the market soon.
    She is involved with support groups within the community. One focuses on local people who are struggling with addiction, another is providing basic needs for low income families.
    Lex's passion as the creator of the “Loving You” event , which celebrated its second year, allows her to make a real positive change where it truly matters.  This event allows women, who otherwise would not be able to afford it, to have their hair and make up done for free and then a professional photo is taken of them. She talks to the women about how important it is to embrace who they really are, especially in a world where they are told, “You are not good enough

    Melissa Mohamed

    Melissa is a self-Driven, motivated, creative soul and student. Who is currently studying Medical Lab Technician here in Toronto. She will complete and graduate this year! Having already graduated Medical Office Admin college diploma, and has worked and completed her internships in both Physiotherapy and worked in a Doctors clinics. She aspires to work and succeed in one of downtown own hospitals by seeing, greeting and assisting clients/patients and taking the blood levels for them. She is currently living in the South Etobicoke area of the city of Toronto. She has active role volunteering work; with the Lakeshore assisted living for one year and half years; now by helping the seniors where no one else can see them from day to day. There are times there are special activities i.e. Bingo Arts and crafts and Christmas dinner, for the residents. As a former delegate of the Miss Universe Canada 2010 pageant, She is very pleased to be accepted as Ms. Galaxy Etobicoke.

    Natasha is a Mother, entrepreneur, sales-professional with an infinite desire to reflect positivity & philanthropy through charitable community initiatives. Mother to a 4-year-old son, the ultimate blessing in her life, inspired Natasha to compassionately impact humanity, volunteering at children’s hospitals & woman’s shelters. She laboured in partnership with diverse charities & companies as a public speaker & ambassador.
    An alumni of Humber-College she has successfully combined her love of horses & passion for hospitality as Manger of Partnerships, Groups & Event Sales at Woodbine Racetrack & on her own fashion label; Queen Equestrian a luxury equestrian clothing label. Natasha has been showing horses across North America for 15 year, adopting an Off-Racetrack Thoroughbred to train for a new career.
    Natasha is working hard towards her dream of becoming a successful woman in Business, the equestrian world, Mother, and, of course, in pageantry & feels incredibly proud & honoured to represent Halton on the National stage. She would like to encourage women to leave their mark, strive for their wildest dreams & never stop reaching for their goals!

    Over the last two years, Liliane has been pursuing her degree in International Relation. She is a mother of a son, a career woman, a friend, a mentor, and many times the glue that holds her family together. Apart from that, she works for Global Affairs Canada in the International business development trade department. 
    She is an open-minded, curious and likes to learn about people and different cultures to satisfy her thirst for knowledge.
    Brave, ambitious, powerful woman, she always has this deep yearning to motivate others. 
    It is been a great pleasure for her to be Ms. Galaxy Ottawa 2019. Her wish is that she can motivate and inspire Canadian women, no matter their background, education or scars, to be unapologetic in recognizing themselves as massive forces in society; to come forward and take on those leadership roles.
    She is actively engaged in her community and plans to continue advocating for suicide prevention and mental health awareness should she take home the crown.

    Brittany-Anne is a Business graduate who currently resides in Pickering, Ontario. Her ancestry consists of many cultural backgrounds including Jamaican, Syrian, English, and Scottish. She currently works in Administration with a hospital and nuclear power plant. However, she believes that sometimes in order to make a difference in the world, heartfelt stories need to be visualized to demonstrate the boundless things people are willing to do, and inspire us to strive for greatness while helping those less fortunate. For this reason, acting her dream job as she would be able to use multiple forms of emotions and skill to encourage people to continuously go above and beyond. In high-school, she travelled throughout the TDSB mentoring youth on the consequences of succumbing to peer pressure and to stand up for their morals/beliefs.  She started an event planning group which brings awareness and fundraising efforts to a variety of charities through social events.  She aspires to be a positive role-model and ambassador of self-love, and to empower individuals to seek their true potentials.

    Matsi Sihlongonyane

    Matsi was born & raised in South Africa. She is currently building her goal in a nursing career at George Brown College. After 2 children, Matsi was encouraged into the pageant & fashion industry. 
    Matsi is a very honest person and she is never afraid of new challenges. Moving to a new country alone in 2012, it was tough and painful without the family support, that’s when reality pushed her more into the fashion industry. The fashion industry provided her with community support, building new friendships and staying happy as a mom. 
    On weekends, she participates in fashion shows and has worked with various designers. She has also won the Miss Photogenic award at Canada Top Choice Pageant in 2018. 
    If Matsi is to win the title of Ms. Galaxy Canada, she wants to inspire women and young teens to not lose their confidence. 
    Matsi personal motto is from her grandma, "Always stand up for the need."

    Regine Semira

    1st Runner Up, Best in Evening Gown & Photogenic Award

    Regine was born in Scarborough and raised in Mississauga and Toronto. Although born a first generation Canadian, Regine was raised with both Filipino and Canadian values and traditions. Regine is an alumni of George Brown College and works as a full time Corporate Event Coordinator and is a co-host for a local Filipino radio station MCBN.
    Regine is no stranger to the stage, competing in pageants since 2010. She has competed in several pageants from local pageants, provincial, national, and has competed Internationally in the Philippines. 
    When Regine is not on stage or working, she is training other pageant hopefuls, and planning fundraisers for the charities she is involved with, including the Royal Canadian Air Cadets of Oakville in the 540 Golden Hawk Squadron. There is a good chance you will bump into her at many local charity events, for she believes in giving back to her community and those who need it most.
    Her motto is, “always be willing to lend a helping hand because you never know whose life you may change.”
